To maximize tourism potential, Ho Chi Minh City launched an in-depth media project to promote local tourism products, values, and diversity, with a focus on applying science and technology in the industry.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism collaborated with Karma Media to design and implement the campaign from 2019 onwards, with one project per year focusing on a key theme. The campaign was built using updated market information, tourism trends, and development policies from experts and authorities. Promotional content was tailored annually to highlight practical value and benefits of developing technology-based tourism.
The project carefully selected reputable media partners, including 10 domestic news and television agencies such as VTC16, Vietnam News Agency, Nhân Dân, Vĩnh Long, and HTV, ensuring wide coverage and effective reach to both domestic and international tourist groups.
After two months of intensive implementation, the project successfully achieved 100% of its objectives. Articles and media programs gained strong traction and were positively received by domestic and international tourist communities.
The project was completed and reviewed ahead of schedule, receiving excellent feedback from audiences and high evaluation from professional agencies. The campaign contributed to raising awareness and promoting the development of Ho Chi Minh City tourism toward a modern, sustainable, and more attractive direction for international visitors.
